Rhode Island Reds were amazing layers but they were so aggressive to each other and all the other breeds. I had Welsumers, who laid beautiful eggs but had annoying personalities. I had a Black Copper Maran rooster who was so violent we couldn't keep him, he was lucky it was early in my chiggenkeeping. Now I just harden my heart and cull the roosters. The Legbars and the Langshans have the best personalities.
