@KeepTakingTheSoma @HebrideanHecate It's a very handy excuse because 'witchcraft' IS actually still popular and practiced in a lot of countries these days. It's incredible how easy it is to prey on people's superstitions when money's a factor.

(Marxist) feminist Silvia Federici has written a few books about it. Apparently accusing a single woman of being a witch is a simple way of getting access to her property because it's just too too terrible that a woman might own property a man could be squandering.

The snake heads are likely psychopaths - and what about the men they 'help' to escape? What actually are they running away from?

As is commonplace these days, greedy psychopathic men have created a massive problem there and now other men are scrambling to pretend to fix it: https://www.zawya.com/en/economy/africa/senegal-plans-local-2025-sukuk-eyes-international-sukuk-in-2026-leqto9hz , in this case by selling bonds to the international Islamist community. This should be just the ticket to SAVE THEIR ENTIRE COUNTRY while the idiots flee with other idiots.

Of course I'm so sure none of this has anything to do with good Muslims at all. Such an innocent, pleasant and peaceful group of religionists they are.
