Leftist and Rightist are in a hockey game.

Leftist drops his gloves. Starts punching the Rightist in the face.

Rightist drops his gloves out of obligation to the traditions of the sport but refuses to punch the leftist even when he’s left himself wide open, because the leftist started a fight he doesn’t want. The rightist spits chiclets and blows blood from his shattered nose and pretends he won on the most important level. Still gets put in the box.

This is what I see when the right refuses to play the fired-for-opinions game the left forced on them. This was the game the left really wanted to play and I want their noses rubbed in it. Not because it’s a good game but because they insisted on playing it.
