just as accessible,
just as convenient,
just as fast,
and just as safe
as a private vehicle.
The problems with public transport you describe exist because the world has been design for cars, for the profit of the car and oil lobbies.
(Even safety would be less of an issue if there was enough frequency and capacity to prevent overcrowding. There’s also surveillance cameras inside most buses and trains these days, although I quite hate them from a #privacy perspective.)
#FuckCars demands better public transport, not merely the abolition of cars.
