@PopulistRight @KarlDahl @sickburnbro Maybe, but a significant portion of MAGA and the true right are considerably more tuned into politics than those in previous years, and they are aware that Trump has been a bit lackluster on the deportation numbers. Steven Miller has been on record demanding much higher numbers and telling ICE to go to Home Depot and Lowes.

That "Trump was a hardcore mass deporter" line will work on the leftists, but I think a great many of those on the right will be aware that the problem is that Trump didn't deport nearly enough.
