It doesn't take that long to provide a source candidate - as that merely requires putting a copy of the source code and build scripts and build instructions into a GNU tar archive and then proceeding to extract that archive onto a chroot or VM and checking if that compiles and fixing it if not.

Even the additional task of deleting the source code of the aggregated proprietary programs and only leaving the binaries shouldn't take that long, even if the build script needs to be modified to manually copy them to the root fs instead of compiling them.
