Yes. You should follow people who post content you like & interact w those people. The following feed is a DELIGHT once you follow enough accounts, and from there you meet new people & grow organically. *I also recommend Starter Packs, which let you immediately follow a bunch of say, film lovers, etc.*

I refuse to use Meta anything so I can only go by what I've heard from others about Threads: that it's a cesspool of Influencers, corporate accounts, & petty people. Ymmv.
