@PopulistRight @White_Powerade @sickburnbro Karl Denninger makes a vaguely persuasive case of 12-18 months for a severe market dislocation based on a “parasite load” metric he has, though I know in the past he himself has expressed amazement at how many times they’ve managed to prevent a system collapse (most recently when Trumps tariff plan revealed that the financial markets are almost entirely fake money from infinite leverage, and yet were somehow able to get the toothpaste back in the tube).
