You may disagree with their findings, but they did address flaws (unproven and unchallenged assumptions) in radiocarbon dating. Theres something to be said about the compounding of knowledge and standing on the shoulders of giants, but there's also the chance that some of the ideas they take as given aren't necessarily true. 2020 showed that pretty seriously.
