   Hey #electrician people on Fedi -- I'm looking for a cable that's probably non-existant and cursed but it's worth a shot. Are there any cables like this, but instead of the US power plug on the male end there's a male USB-C connector? Basically an AC-2 to USB-C cable (attached photo is cursed mockup) ?

     @thatonecalculator@stop.voring.me USB connectors are DC so this will not work without a rectifier and probably some control board to make it safe.

     @shoq@mastodon.social no, definitely not. That's for audio, not DC power. Also comments told me it was a stupid idea as if something like that was made (which it isn't) it'd easily fry all my devices due to a lack of power regulation ?
