Sounds debugged.

clacke (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Monday, 26-Dec-2022 21:10:28 JST clacke I'm quite impressed with this build, compared to some other drawers and things I've assembled, mainly those other brands but maybe some older IKEA builds as well.
It addresses some weak points from those earlier builds in terms of durability and in terms of disassembly and reassembly. The modularity is very cool as well, there are lots of ways to mix and match this range and the documentation and included parts are really helpful for that aspect too.
The difference is entirely a difference in design, it's not about higher-quality materials. The most prominent difference is that it uses no nails at all and only 4 self-drilling-type wood screws (I'm not entirely clear what value those 4 screws and the part they attach adds).
I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that it uses a Philips screwdriver for some screws that could have used an Allen key! ? -

It's like a crossword puzzle, jigsaw puzzle or coloring book, but you can store socks in it. -

clacke (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Monday, 26-Dec-2022 21:10:31 JST clacke Being from Sweden I've built flatpack furniture all my life, not just from IKEA, but also from Jysk, from now-defunct OBS! and probably some other places like ICA Maxi.
It's how a lot of furniture is sold and I think building it yourself really gives you a different appreciation for the furniture in your day-to-day and the act of building it provides you with an appropriate level of menial work with a smidgen of practical-intellectual challenge. -

konstruera = construct
lätthet = "lightness", ease
småstad = small-town, a whole range of kids' room furniture including this cabinet, desk, bunk bed, other storage solutions -

clacke (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Monday, 26-Dec-2022 21:10:33 JST clacke I appreciate the brilliant way that different IKEA parts fit together, but it's also kind of overwhelming and confusing when you think you've ordered a Småstad cabinet and you get a Platsa frame, Konstruera almost-drawers, Lätthet feet and Småstad drawer fronts. I'm glad the Billy bookshelf came in one monolithic flatpack and I didn't mix any other modular products into the order. ?
