     I wasn't aware of that feature, so thanks for that! However, I am only getting an error message: "The app didn't find the remote message."

     It's implemented, but not automatic : you have to tap the icon (circled in yellow in my screenshot) to switch to remote view. As I understand it, it uses the public (non authenticated) API to fetch the thread directly from the server on which it originated. @apps

     @edzilla @simon @kimschulz I don't think they've actually implemented it yet. They just did the poll for the feature a couple of weeks ago.

     @simon @kimschulz I don't think that's actually true, I'm on a single user instance and with fedilab I don't see any replies to this thread
