@apps I was referring to a previous thread where @timbray experimented with unlisted posts to have the thread displayed only when the last post is published. I thought it was worth mentioning here that Fedilab had a tool for that but it would probably have made more sense if I had replied there instead https://hachyderm.io/@timbray/109660409653705403
@timbray I saw your experiment with threads. I think with Fedilab you can compose a thread and post all the toots at the same time, maybe @apps can tell you more
@apps Thank you for the great work, the speed at which you release bug fixes and new features is impressive. Remember to take a break sometimes ! I opened an issue but it can wait (and who knows, maybe next week I'll find the energy to install the Android dev env and I can submit a merge request )
@djohngo @edzilla@simon@kimschulz It's implemented, but not automatic : you have to tap the icon (circled in yellow in my screenshot) to switch to remote view. As I understand it, it uses the public (non authenticated) API to fetch the thread directly from the server on which it originated. @apps
@apps Will the export/import feature allow to switch from Google Play Fedilab to F-Droid Fedilab or the other way around ? I couldn't find how to do it but maybe I haven't looked in the right place ?
@apps I answered no but it's not a complete no : displaying the whole thread works great, I haven't really tried interacting (I tried on one post, favorite works but not unfavorite?) But tapping a username to display their profile doesn't seem to work : it briefly displays an empty profile before returning to the thread with a generic error message
