Good basic analysis by @techlore about @brave (which I use). https://youtu.be/VHwIyR6ca4o
I belive it is the best alternative to Google Chrome as well as @firefox (latter which I have avoided using for years). I also like it’s VPN features too.

@majorlinux @techlore @brave @firefox That is it's only drawback, but yes, those are annoying.
@darnell @techlore @brave @firefox
I can't get down with Brave.
It forces way too many ads ver crypto down people's throat.
It's even worse for people who may not be able to turn it off.
@panegyr Librewolf is a great option, but they lack an iOS/iPadOS app so it's not a good option for me.
@darnell Brave is still chromium based, so google does have some indirect control over it. If you want to try a fork of firefox with none of the nonsense may I recommend librewolf?
@zef The definition of Web 3.0 is ambiguous at best. I wish we would just call it the future web & leave it at that.
@darnell I’ve been a Brave user for many years it’s good. My only concern is its increasing focus on Web3.
@darnell@one.darnell.one @techlore@mastodon.social @brave@mastodon.social @firefox@twtr.plus I highly recommend @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net Its led by some of the old guard from Presto age Opera.
