   @masukomi @stux yes generally I think you are right and philosopher king is bad! Would you like to discuss opportunities help us maintain these instances and improve together? On the case of commercial- I don’t think the curr stage mastodon instance is able to turn profit and the cost is affordable for us. In long run I think we will see everyone run light nodes themselves

     I've just posted a quick blog post explaining why all Mastodon people should be very concerned about "Mask Group" having bought up 3 of the largest mastodon instances, and why folks on those instances should be moving their accounts ASAP.

     tl;dr there's no logical reason to buy them that doesn't hurt them and us in the long run.
