(Salt isn't good for their kidneys. They effin' love cottage cheese, though; if you get the low-sodium cottage cheese, the little feller will eat a pile as big as he is.)
@sjw A lot of them will eat almost anything at that age, but they'll usually just eat it once. Feller here still goes nuts if he knows that there's cottage cheese or whipped cream in the house.
Nice thing is that they help keep bugs out of the house: you fry up some beef or pork or whatever, just drop the bag or the tray on the floor, they'll clean all the blood off before you throw it away.
@p@sjw I can concur with 'Peter' on the cottage cheese, mine likes it too, she likes all cheese, is also lactose intolerant, I think I read most cats are, so I buy Whiskas-Catmilk-Kittens-Ounces-3-Count @ Amazon, like 27 bottles I think for less than 20 bucks, one bottle/4 days, don't over feed it to them. you can do an auto delivery on it. Hey SJW long time no see, I'm catching up on Neckbeard scuttlebutt,
@sjw@p ok, anyways thanks... is there a thread I can read about what happened? I just saw a few lines another day, wasn't around, but I remember Snow causing all kinds of trouble many years ago, Pete got a link?
@Beekeeper@sjw I think if you comb over sjw's Poa.st account ( @sjw ), most of the posts are about that. I don't think there's a comprehensive writeup; it was hard to find information when it started happening. There's this post that mentions it in passing because Snow tried to do the same to FSE: https://freespeechextremist.com/notice/ADyXYKNYQAF9C52KPY . Basically, on the way out, Snow started propagating this list of all trans accounts (just the accounts that had trans emoji in the display names that he got from his database), started distributing it as the "trannylist" and making accounts called "trannylist" on every server he didn't like (like he did with the HIV posts and the Hitler stuff and all of his other driveby accounts), then reported those accounts to the hosts and registrars, etc., after getting the idea from the hentai.baby takedown (which was warranted; they were running a CP distribution hub); neckbeard.xyz got reported for anti-trans hate speech and for "CSAM", but which Snow meant "loli hentai drawings".
.st domains are apparently much harder to knock over this way, so it should be good.
@vixn@sjw One of them here will bite you to get your attention; the other one will stand up on his hind legs, reach out one claw, and tap you on the shoulder.
@p@sjw@sjw What did I just read? Are there now rules, I/We have to abide by? I thought we were a walled anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week,....but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting....by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs,...but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more major- You couldn't get kicked out, just ignored! Oh Dear.
@Beekeeper@sjw@sjw There are fewer rules than before; just that was the vector for the takedown, it didn't affect us beyond me having to talk to the DC a while.
Recently, since I don't want to spend any time doing janny shit because I am hacking, I moved from "admin" to "BOFH", so there are even fewer rules than before, just don't get me arrested or fuck up the server; the sole new rule is "Don't do anything that requires my time and effort."
@p@Beekeeper@sjw that still refused to provide me with any proof CSAM and keep saying, "yeah we're not gonna reinstate your domain because we found CSAM on it so stop trying." When I told them I didn't care about the domain anymore and I just wanted the URLs to check and remove the offending content from my server they ghosted me. They knew for a fact there was no actual CSAM.
@sjw@bae.st Literally why I don't run anything that federates on my primary domain. Cheap bitch domains for fedi instances so nothing breaks if they get taken down. @Beekeeper@p@sjw@poa.st
@sjw@Beekeeper@p@sjw are you going to put back peertube for movies and japanese cartoons or should I keep stealing your saturday timeslot for the two people who show up
When I was a game tester, every time they put me on an FPS, I would look down, back into a corner, take a screenshot, and file a bug that said "I am a floating gun" or "I have no feet" or something like that. Nowadays there are feet, but you still can't really see your little man.
@graf@Beekeeper@EdBoatConnoisseur@r000t@sjw@sjw That was why I used motorcycles in Cybery Punks Two-Nil-Double-Seven. The stupid character creation screen took forever to make a cute girl but then you can't see your little man unless you use motorcycle. I did the first playthrough of that game in Daisy Dukes with no shirt and unless I got on a motorcycle, you couldn't even tell except on the equipment screen that I never needed because I was playing as a ho.
@r000t@p@sjw@Beekeeper@r000t@EdBoatConnoisseur@sjw Ha, we pirated that game and did a group playthru when it came out and I dropped it about 20 hours in because if a mission bug and no prior saves (I know better)
I did buy it after but never got around to actually playing it. wonder if it runs like absolute ass on the steam deck or not now ┐( ∵ )┌
@graf@Beekeeper@EdBoatConnoisseur@r000t@sjw@sjw Because it was so buggy, someone I knew was dissatisfied and gave me their copy of the PS4 version, but the big patch that almost fixed the game was out by the time I played it, the patch from a few months after launch.
I was playing a little when the last update came out, and I was trying to exploit crits, and about 80% of the way through the game, they totally nerfed crits and reorganized the skill tree. I have no goddamn clue why you'd nerf *anything* in a single-player game but it fucked up my build.
It was a pretty fun game, though. The gameplay was all right, a large chunk of the dialog sucked, "Here are over 9,000 varieties of beverage, all of which do exactly the same thing", I hated most of the characters by the end (fuck Panam completely, I don't think I have hated a character in a video game more since, I don't know, maybe since Cait Sith), but the game overall felt a lot like they just let the art department run wild, that made it interesting. @r000t@p@sjw@Beekeeper@r000t@EdBoatConnoisseur@sjw alright, I'll give it another go. I have a few comptia exams coming up so when I'm done that I plan to take a week and vibe drink and play gaming so it's at the top
