     @Hollahollara @alex I always figured the story was she was raped, then married off. Was she married off to her rapist? I don't know. But this is an example of why proper sex education is important, and women's rights are important. We don't go marrying off 14 year old girls to adult men. We realize now how utterly fucked up that is. Or some of us do. Many still see no problem with it.

     The religious hatred comes from the fact that the Jews organized the killing of Jesus and don’t acknowledge him as the prophesied messiah. The Talmud was made in two parts between 200AD and 500AD so well after the events and is more ‘salt in the wound’ than anything. The only Jews practicing the religion as it existed during Jesus’ time are the Samaritans, the current group is about as divergent from the original Jewish faith as the Mormons are to the original faith as organized at the Council of Nicea.

     The secular hatred is an endless historical list of events where they backstab the sitting authorities and invite in invaders, starting in the holy land which is outlined several times in the Book of Judges where Baal keeps popping up over and over leading to societal dysfunction before some big name figure squashes the whole thing and sets everyone back onto a hardline path again. The Jews feature prominently in the Islamic invasions of Roman possessions in the Holy Land, Egypt and are almost a central figure, nearly as large as the Muslim forces, in the invasion of Visigothic Spain and its administration after the Visigoths rulers were ejected by Muslim forces.

     @alex It's taboo or blasphemy to draw The Holy Spirit or God The Father outside of iconography, and even that has its own rules and layers, although depictions of The Holy Spirit via a dove or flaming cross are common and widely accepted. One of the few times you'll see a depiction as a human is in the icon of Abraham Welcoming The Lord (Genesis 18:1-15), AKA "The Holy Trinity" icon.
     
     >The guests are described simply as three men, but when Abraham talks to them, they respond as one ("they said"). The Lord appeared to Abraham, but when he looks to see who is there, he sees three men. Three men speaking as one; the one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. At other times, only one of the angels speaks to Abraham and he is referred to as "Lord." In the icon, it is most often felt that the angel in the center of the icon is the one referred to as Lord: Jesus Christ.
