     @the_curiostech @amysighs @oacgnol @nova for now you can send donations here: https://ko-fi.com/krisnovalive. In the future, they plan to set up a proper business structure specifically for #hachyderm. I’ll see if I can find @nova’s post about that.

     @oacgnol I did a one time donation (< $10) to @nova when I first joined the hachyderm instance and would be open to regularly donating to any instance that I enjoy given that servers aren’t free etc… Transparency: I’d compare it to supporting someone on patreon where I don’t need to know where the money goes — I’m supporting work that I like.

     @sao @the_curiostech @amysighs @oacgnol @nova That's a good question, and one I've wondered about myself. Nova can speak more directly to that, but judging by what I've seen of her and the team, I'm sure however she's handling it right now is equitable. I'd imagine that most if not all of the funds are just going to infrastructure right now. Just my guess though!

     I talk a little bit about it here but the short answer is whatever we haven’t spent is just sitting in the bank.
     I need to crunch numbers for November and December before I can give exact details.
     In January we break hachyderm out into an independent funding model. I’ll probably end up matching however much money we have as our initial bootstrapping fund.
