   Oh look, people digging their heels in about not wanting to CW their posts, despite explanations? Unfollow/mute/block

   People patiently explaining and having nuanced positions? ?

     @PeterWyrm @dajb I do use it when I think it could cause distress. Topics like rape, suicide do get a CW. But I will not use cw for things like politics. Trying to make me responsible to know about all possible triggers for anyone who might feel attacked is simply not possible, IMHO, and also turns a lot of discussions meta instead of focused in my experience. That’s why I make sure that people know about my position on the use of cw.

     @dajb @jwildeboer Jan, you were one of the first people I followed here. I had forgotten about your position on CWS, although the pinned post is familiar now that I’ve re-read it. I think an important thing to note is that you (generally? always?) post stuff that doesn’t really need a CW.

     @dajb I've put my position in a pinned toot. I do hope that people check the pinned tots of any profile they plan to follow. It's a good way to find out if someone is a fit for your timeline or not.
