     In fact, I've been using trains and buses every single day maskless during those entire 3 years.

     @hakui @wolfie Depends on the staffer.
     You might get a highly fascist staffer who will absolutely require one at all cost, some staffers might only want you to put it on during check in and then they won't mind anymore, but most of the time (in my experience traveling around that is) they don't really give a fuck, or they'll tell you which guest(s) is genuinely scared, and they'll ask you to be mindful and only wear it in that guests' presence, and take it off again when they're out of sight.

     @wolfie @hakui There might be stores who will outright force you to wear one, in that case record the conflict and bring it to a koban (police box), because forcing people to wear a face diaper or get denied service is illegal according both Japanese law and Japanese constitution.
     
     I don't believe in these artificial "laws", and I know this won't have much effect if at all, but with some luck it does bring some awareness to the public, and perhaps this will finally wake a bit more sheeple up.
     
     The reason why I didn't do so is because it very rarely happens to me, and if it happens, I don't have my phone with me, because that thing is always at home anyway.

     @galena Well, he took it off when I explained him that forcing to wear one against your will is illegal and the person forcing it would be put in a lot of trouble when reported, and I explained the difference between "request", "recommendation", and "obligation", because the government managed to convince the people that they're all synonimous through massive amounts of propaganda, which didn't affect me because I don't watch TV at all, and everything else.
     After explaining all that he took it off.
