The goal for this project (which I am almost certainly going to get bored of before reaching) is to create an emergent universe of dealership scumbaggery so rich in detail and intractability that I can hook it all up to Google Voice and patch into the dealerverse as the sole human participant. I want to LARP as Doug from VINwiki by verbally arguing over the phone with synthetic exotic wholesalers trying to rip me off on simulated car deals involving completely imaginary Lamborghinis.

You're the only person I've ever even seen trying to build something with Ai versus getting one shot by it and it's funnier the more I think about it because you're a prime candidate for being MKULTRA'd by it lmao.

I already have the beginnings of an idea that I think could easily one-shot retards. The phone call-based machine roleplay delusion concept alone is likely already enough for weak-minded people to mindfuck themselves, but now imagine making it a multiplayer experience. All players share the same persistent "world", essentially just a massive relationship graph between an army of agentic NPCs and a comparative handful of human players. You call NPCs, NPCs call you, players call each other, NPCs call each other, NPCs call one player on behalf of another, and so on. The entire substrate of the LARP is phone calls that you can get at any time, so the "gameplay" experience has the hyperreality vibe of ARGs, multiple players interacting inside of a persistent world gives the structure MMO-like qualities, and the open-ended NPC interactions impart tabletop characteristics. As far as I know, nobody has ever made anything quite like what I'm currently imagining, probably for a good reason.
