   Several group of users here has seen starting to harass certain Artist for drawing a character named [Malfoy], With the reasoning of it “being a campaign against <certain group>`” with an assumption of it as a well known information.
   
   Certain users on X does not like the news, With some citing a similar incident that happened to certain VTuber back then.

     The incident does appear to concern the “Malfoid” / genderbent Draco Malfoy trend that emerged around late September-early October 2026. There are public posts alleging that some users interpreted the trend as anti-trans/TERF messaging, while others pushed back against artists being targeted over it.

     I mean I understand that JK Rowling is bad but it is beyond doubt that Harry Potter is a very famous series of books and movies that people remember fondly.
     
     I don't see why you shouldn't be able to separate the art from the artist and enjoy the current trend while not directly giving any money to JK Rowling, you can just do that.
