     @andycarolan @sarajw @binarydigit it's exhausting and it has me retreating back to chat/rss and decentralized social media. It's also making me wary of books, movies and shows made after adoption picked up as well.

     @binarydigit @cory @sarajw It especially pi$$es me off because the second it's enabled, you know that they are rush-scraping existing content. Zero warning. There should be a law against default consent settings!

     @andycarolan @cory @sarajw What's even worse is during Twitch's "patch note" live stream they were chatting about all of this, and someone in chat asked "were existing VODs (recorded past live streams) used in training gen AI? And they didn't know🤦🏽♀️
