     When the pale moon branding is on the software, a big list of proprietary restrictions are claimed.
     
     Yes, you can take the source code and turn it into free software via replacing the branding.

     I think I'll stick to ungoogled chromium for now even tho I don't like google. Ladybird might be a good spiritual successor tho once they finish it up a bit.
