      some peoples autism going away with nutrient treatments suggests it was a misdiagnosed vitamin deficiency which explains why it doesn't generalize.

      the diagnosis is not useful, making it a bigger tent doesn't help.

      that's the entire point.

      @sj_zero @ned i just stopped replying. they wanted to "well akshually" about CPTSD and then went on some nazi tangent about aspergers namesake (aspergers was also discovered by someone else who was not a nazi, but he didn't win the naming contest.)

      my whole point was grab bag diagnostics don't treat patients, and the streamer was talking about their parent not allowing them to get special ed and me noting that special ed is too variable in policy to be considered good

      Everything is political and then the world laughs as you marry yourself in middle age.

      It turns out that there's a lot more to life than politics, and the group that understands that is going to be the one to write the future.
