   I'm in contact with a couple of people who know people in Bulgaria, and I've referred them to this thread, but... there's no contact info, and I can't assume the people in Bulgaria they might reach would be in the fediverse. it's unclear to me how anyone could help or even verify the story without such basic information.

     By any chance, do you know someone in Bulgaria? Refugee going through struggle to stay there. A lawyer and a couple friends are trying to help already - if you know anyone else in Bulgaria who could talk with them, maybe help with picking up / delivering paperwork, or just be there to brainstorm, please let us know!
