     @PNS HOA's are also an amateur radio operators nightmare. Some go to great lengths to disguise antennas as flagpoles etc. because of these dumb rules.

     Federal legislation targeting HOA restrictions on amateur radio antennas is actively being pushed in the U.S. Congress, specifically H.R. 1094 and S. 459

     While there are no current federal laws preempting HOA rules, state-level wins—like an Indiana law enacted restricting new HOA antenna bans—are driving momentum.

     OTOH, don't join HOA's.
