  Guys complaining about "girldads" who spoil their daughters, and girls complaining about "boymoms" who spoil their sons.

  @Shadowbroker2135 @Waldbrand @WandererUber @john_darksoul @kaia When a mother shows a lot of affection and care for her son(s), and relatively little for any daughters she might have.
  A similar concept is "girldads" who spoil their daughters and give any sons they might have a lot less leeway.
  
  There isn't really a phrase such as "girlmoms" and "boydads", because parents are to some extent expected to relate better and show more favor and compassion towards their children who share their gender.

  @Waldbrand @john_darksoul @kaia @Jens_Rasmussen I said a lot of things apparently. I don't remember saying this and I can't find it in the logs, but I did say something about boy moms before. I don't think the hugging and cuddling part of the boy mom complex* is in any way problematic.
  
  This thread is severely lacking in appreciation for the fact that that woman in the youtube video is an actress, therefore a total narcissist and extreme outlier.
  
  * if it exists at all, and isn't just women online trying to win the intrasexual "I have so much to do therefore give me attention about my hard life" competition by rallying behind an identity.

  I'm Gen-X. I never even knew my parents. I just woke up one day in the burbs with a note that said, "Life isn't fair. Be home when the street light turn on." My kids have it good.
