   I'm trying out @pachli for fedi on Android and it's super nice: the UI feels clean and modern, I can change the font (Atkinson Hyperlegible my beloved), and _it pops open a new window_ when I'm composing a post. No more saving a draft or opening a different client to look something up mid-post! I have never seen an Android app do that before.

     @annika @pachli always happy to help. I didn't even know about the separate compose instance until I'd been using it for ages. it's a killer feature!

     My only nit with Pachli so far is the home timeline refresh behaviour: it gets the next page of posts from what was at the top, rather than the *newest* page as of this moment.

     I have to trigger "Load newest posts" from a menu.

     @annika i actually love that, because then i end up reading *forward* in the timeline rather than *backwards*. different strokes!
