🤔 OKAY Peeps I got a short hair cut today & it's a fantastic cut😊
So I am curious on how much it cost YOU when you last got your haircut at the hairdressers & did you leave a tip?😳-

@LostInCalifornia @EmmaFaber I haven't had my hair cut for nearly 10 years, and then it was only a light trim. I really can't be arsed with the whole *where are you going on holiday?* and chit chat. I don't begrudge hairdressers their money, but it's just not for me.
I only wash it once a week. I make sure I brush it thoroughly every day, then put it up for work. -

@EmmaFaber $25 the last time I had it cut, a couple of years ago, he's the owner, so no tip but I did give him a bottle of chocolate vodka and some banana bread.
I cut it myself these days, but I'm thinking of getting it layered again -- that will cost $35 + tip

@KeepTakingTheSoma @EmmaFaber My hair is thick and wavy. When it's layered, it dries faster and there's less fuss. So, I think I might have it done.
I don't really do expensive cuts; my hair is forgiving. Only cut it can't handle is when they cut the sides near the temple wrong and I get wings (then I use gel until they grow out and I never go there again).
I don't mind hairdresser's chit chat. I do mind when they take too much credit for how my hair turns out :-). Yes, it's good hair. It was good hair before I walked in...
