     @RustyCrab It really does, and that's sad because 15 years ago the Onion was quite a wonderful satire publication. Now it's just another yellow journalism rag riding on the Jon Stewart model of news.

     @vii you know, I'm trying to think and it really seems like all parody turning into naked demagoguery was uniquely a thing for millennials. It seems like everything before and after that was actually trying to be funny in some way

     @RustyCrab @vii I don't even know if there's that much of a conspiracy to it, it was "good" back when it was savaging a terrible administration that was easy to mock, but then their guy got in and they were put in the awkward spot of trying to run a political satire site under an administration they completely adored.
