   As a younger man I marked the passage of time and technology by the latest gen console. Now I do it in washing machines. And I have to tell you that the graphics on this latest model are incredible. It's so quiet and barely any load time.

     I like the noise, but out of curiosity have you RTFM on yours? Most of the ones I've run across have a way to turn it off, even if it's just lowering the volume.
