     She hasn’t the slightest Jewish connection as far as she knows. But she’s a fundamentalist RC who’s been got at by other American Christian Zionists.

     She repeats all the lies about ‘they were there first’ (“they” weren’t) etc also, no thinking what that might mean with regard to ‘settlement’. All discussion of Palestinians meets ‘what about Hamas?’

     @burnoutqueen If you can show me where anyone said “Jews are uniquely murderous”, we can have this conversation (and I will condemn whoever said it as that’s an antisemitic statement).

     Stating that Israel is a settler-colonial apartheid state that is commiting genocide, however, is something else entirely: it is the truth.

     @aral This is not recent (you may well know it already) but Haaretz journalist Gideon Levi nicely summarises it very well.

     1. Many (not all) Israeli's see themselves as the Chosen people, so they can do whatever they want, and (2) they see themselves as victims. Add to this (3) systematic dehumanization of Palestinians.
