     I know it.
     That's a great poem.
     I've been avoiding it as Annie's bd approaches and then the other horrible day. And now I'm crying again.
     But it is really true.
     I never want to give up all those texts, emails, hours of jitsi and those special nine days IRL in a cabin on the Skeena. I never knew love in my life until Annie.
     I am crying hard right now and my throat is tight. My cheeks are wet.
     It think it's just to be expected. Something I have to just get over in time.
     I couldn't see to type there for a sec.
     I think everyone does this.
     You just have to deal.

     I recited and read her lots of poetry that I'd been saving up all my life.

     @gemlog We all lose someone close as we get on in life. Remembering them as they were is important because they're not really gone until the last person forgets them.

     I remembered the quote but had to go looking for the poem that it belonged to because I don't normally read it. It's quite useful for venting though :)
