PoalackJokes88I mentioned ZOG running out of missiles. Every sortie they fly is using some type of standoff weapon so they can stay outside of SAM range, so they're burning through their existing stock. The main standoff weapon in their arsenal is the Tomahawk missile, which they currently can produce at most 90 per year. At the time this war started, they had just under 2000 of them in their inventory. Future wars with China or with Russia will need these as well, so there's a limit to how low they can draw down their stocks. They're burning through roughly a year's production rate per day, and with no end in sight.
@BobsonDugnuttHB@PoalackJokes88@deprecated_ii i remember it was big news when a bunch of boomer came out of retirement and reopened a factory to make like 10 shells per day. also that factory may or may not have exploded 3 months later
@deprecated_ii@PoalackJokes88 They figured a bunch of news articles about how the Ukrainians are totally winning and not losing ground and are inflicting a 10-1 kill ratio on the Russians was a lot cheaper than any of that lame manufacturing nonsense.
Follow-up: ZOG's industry has been gutted for the sake of (((finance))). Lots of the subsystems needed for these things come from China, and even when they don't the rare-earth minerals required for them do.
@PoalackJokes88 we know where the rare earth minerals are in the ground, we know how to mine them, and we know how to refine them (none of this is as hard as talking heads think) but we're just... not doing it
just like we never built more artillery shell production for ukraine. that is something that could've been done in 6 months at relatively low cost, but we just didn't do it :02_shrug: :02_shrug: :02_shrug:
