     @sand @kon delta chat is good. I can't say it simpler than that. matrix lots of problems both as a user and as a server admin. delta chat is better.
     
     delta chat is probably not appropriate for discord-sized rooms. but neither is matrix, you have no opsec in a giant encrypted room anyway

     @sand @kon I realize that it's annoying when people say "switch to this its better" but matrix was always bad and delta chat so far is really really better to me

     @sand @kon matrix is? I don't know. Delta chat is compatible with itself. it uses SMTP actually as its transport

     @yonle @7666 @sand @kon xmpp would be better in some ways and worse in others. xmpp is theoretically better yeah but I've been using delta chat for like a year now and haven't had any problems at all.
