timorl@CppGuy @viq @benroyce @alice It’s even worse with COVID, my friend’s wife works at a pediatric diabetes ward in a hospital and their intake literally doubled with the pandemic. Later there was a paper about this effect, confirming the (almost) doubling of type-1 diabetes incidence in children after a COVID infection.
