     u can even not like flatpak .

     but like . this isnt something where u have no power , its not like discord or twitter where in order to be able to stop using them u need to either convince people to stop using it , or rip yourself from your social ccircle

     dont wanna use flatpak ? package the thing . i promise you everyone , even flatpak users , that uses the same distro as you will thank you

     and sure , if flatpak goes evil they might uhh ? idk ? require an account to download the packages . sure lets say they do. u still have the code to the thing ? u can literally build the flatpak on your compooper its piss easy

     @coolbean @apophis because who cares man this is not a dangerous thing like discord asking for your id is . this is somewhere to dump your code to be forgotten about . ppl say they usr github , sure ill use github. then afterwards if u dont want your code to be fed to copilot , you leave. thats the story
