   It's weird how much I thrill over small victories now

   I had cataract surgery on my left eye three weeks, and my right eye two weeks ago

   Each eye requires eye drops post-surgery for 21 days, 2x/day, which means I did the last of my required left-eye drops last night

   In three weeks, despite travel and some busy scheduling, I didn't miss a single dose, and now have only 13 doses remaining in my right eye

   Meds compliance feels like a huge win

     I'm very happy with the cataract surgery, although at my follow-up the surgeon said,

     "I'm thrilled with how things came out. The surgery went perfectly. Also, I can make it even better"

     ...which apparently involves scraping some scarring off my eyeballs in an in-office procedure

     I can read out of my right eye so I think I'll let him do the scraping on my left and leave things "well enough alone" on the right

     [I did not, however, get the color boost people mentioned]
