     It used to be that every single Chinese restaurant or takeaway would have one of these, maybe still do. Here in the UK I mean.

     I literally dont know now. I've always called them money trees but maybe they're jade plants?

     Definitely what you have there is what I'd call a money tree so i think this is nomenclature.

     @botvolution Jade plants have thick, succulent leaves. Money trees often have deliberately braided trunks and normal, thin leaves
