There is a cold virus hitting Cleveland area hard right now. The cold & flu medication sections are cleared out today. Had to go to three stores to find some. Every damn Christmas I'm forced to interact with more ppl and I get sick. It's clockwork.

Large water systems typically get Legionella infected.
A lot of buildings are using silver and copper to control it.

Another trick is to keep the boiler hot. That is to say, many times an electric warm water container. We put the temperature on about min 75% effect. That way it stays so hot that there are no legionella bacteria developing in that tank.

In case some hot water get mixed in the kitchen somehow.

While the cold water stay as cold as possible.

      Hitler sometimes quoted the bible.

"That that isn't lukewarm or cold I spit out of my mouth"

      Good advise.

I think the problem with legionella is it has relatively high temperature resistance.
That’s why big systems get infected.
      Maybe I’m remembering that wrong……

In the old days we (Aryans) used to have a silver spoon or something else of silver in the well. That way some silver were mixing with the water.

There was also the saying, born with a silver spoon in his, her mouth. This is true. Back in the days, rich people put a silver spoon in their babies mouths, to protect them against illness.

Adults could also literally walk around with a silver spoon in mouth.

      Before big pharma.

As long as you what you’re getting.
Most of what they sell as CS is maybe ionic silver at best and water with parasites in it at worst.
Someone did a study back when. It’s on that forum somewhere.

Real CS isn’t clear…..it’s yellow to brown…or even blackish…depending on ppm.
20 ppm should be crystal clear light yellow.
Surface plasmon resonance being what accounts for the color.
320 ppm should be blackish opaque.
Dilute back to 20ppm and it’s yellow again.

This one is great for when for whatever reason, sore throat, gum. I gurgle with this a few times a day and spit it out.

Then mix some CS with water and drink it. A few table spoons in a glas of water.

I also use it to wash infected wounds, as an antiseptic remedy.

also, i may sound nuts, but the biggest difference-maker that we started using about 3 years ago: honey garlic.

as soon as you get a dry or sore throat, or any runny nose or post-nasal drip.

hit the honey garlic multiple times per day.

These remedies were used before antibiotics. They have similar traits but without destroying Ur stomachs bacteria and without creating strains that are immune to antibiotics.

I would still use antibiotics when needed, but imagine all the people who use it as soon as they get a cold. If they would have used honey garlic instead.

I got a parasite a few years back. A nasty one that I weren't able to cure with antibiotics/Penicillin.

Since those were only 5-10 day remedies while the parasite, "ratti" probably had a 30 day cycle. I would not survive eating strong antibiotics for 30 days.

So I bought colloidal silver and at first I took a lot and then I took small doses each day for a few months and then it was gone.

Ever since then I always have colloidal silver at home.

Btw I was pounding zinc as soon as I got a sore throat. That helped a lot. Then i got the runny nose into the chest. My wife said to do 2x daily hits to nose with Flonase that also helped although I plan to back it down to 1 spray tomorrow.

Then I put triple the recommended number of drops of methylene blue into my rum and coke to take the edge off my mitochondria.

@Murray_N @EvolLove @DrFell @Richard @neanderthalsnavel The prevention for this was accidentally removed from systems as technology made it irrelevant. It was common in older houses to crank the water heater to near scalding temps and run a loop that added cold water to the system as it was on its way to the hot main, bringing it to the more usable temperatures for delivery People did this to extend the length of time their water heater would last in the days before water saving shower heads and appliances and when bigger families were common. Today, those are somewhat rare but coming back in popularity, because it turns out that keeping the tank that high killed legionella.

Legionella will develop if the temperature is between 20-45 C
68-113 F (neither hot nor cold)

So our "city" water pipes are dug deep enough to keep the water cold enough. Same with private well.

The water heater is where bacteria can start accumulating. Thus we set our heaters to about 60 C 140 F. And that will do it.

Same as laundry, 60 C 140 F will usually be enough to kill most fungi and bacteria.

      Even though 90 C 194 F are recommended.

We usually set it to 60 C to avoid scolding, 65 C or warmer.

      60 is 15 hotter than 45 and 5 under 65.

Just so hot as it will be painful but not leave burn mark.
