     @bicmay This, but I hate the mindset in these gov institutions that you quit when you disagree with unethical orders. The thing to do is keep doing the job you're supposed to do for the public and MAKE THEM FIRE YOU. Then fight it in court. Resigning is such a missed opportunity.

     @dalias For someone in uniform, not resigning means going to prison, while you try to prove the order was illegal. Since Trump fired all the IG’s and most of the JAG officers responsible for determining if an order was illegal, you’re looking at decades behind bars.

     Resigning makes it all public.
