@Lyle I meant 2020s-era nazis. Not sure how you'd actually pull off such a game without trivializing the risks or doing other really uncool stuff; it'd probably need to be clear that it's intentionally unrealistic. The point is just to move the Overton window on "Oversteegening is a good thing".
@dalias Just call it Freddie, and everyone assumes it’s a Nightmare On Elm Street reference but it starts with a hot young Dutch woman racing to fix her bike so she can get back to the barge before the Nazis show up
@RealGene Hmm... maybe the game could just be AI slop, and we could use real instances of luring nazis into the woods to train it. After all, it's not illegal if you're just doing it to train AI. 🙃
@HappyGaultheria@Lyle It's kinda depressing to me that people like the writer make an effort to look for any depth in people who haven't even met the lowest possible bar for being decent human beings.
@dalias@Lyle I remember reading an article from this journalist who went undercover on a bunch of conservative dating sites. Once she told her date they had too many differing politics to go on a second one, as she was a democrat. Thing is, the con was shocked to ear it, as he thought she shared all his opinions. He never asked questions about her philosophies and just assumed she had the exact same opinions.
What I'm trying to say is navigating that line is probably pretty easy.
