   @Likewise @RickiTarr I thought that's what chores are for? Yes, learning that some things just have to get done is important, so make the kids wash the dishes and clean their rooms and clean up after their pets.
   Time delegation is also an important life skill, but I don't know if homework is the best way to teach it. Certainly didn't work for me.

     @RickiTarr I don’t t think homework is bad, not hours and hours of it, but some is not terrible. In addition to learning, it teaches time delegation at earlier ages. For those who mentioned how much they hated it, etc., homework wasn’t meant to be liked. It teaches that there are some things in life that need to be done whether we like it or not.
