   @khleedril @chris @mattblaze @evan That's not true. The protocol has a `to` field and a `cc` field. That's enough for e-mail to be considered private. How these fields are connected to the UX is the application's responsibility.

     No, it doesn't. The 'weakness' is in the protocol. All of ActivityPub is designed around the idea that it is a *broadcast* medium.
