   I went back to trying to get Ubunutu 25.10 working on my Framework machine. At this point I’ve given up… it’s just too buggy. For everything I fix I find something else that just doen’t work.

   I’m honestly to the point where Apple works well enough for me that I’m thinking of selling the Framework laptop. I really don’t have a use case for it anymore.

     Other distros work fine. At this point I’m just spending most of my time messing with distros and none of my time actually using them and… why? Apple stuff is working and I have to use it at work and for family stuff.

     Every distro, like MacOS, has its quirks and bugs. Ubuntu 25.10, however, is exceptional. From the new Terminal app to Flatpak there are so many things broken I’m honestly taken back a bit that it even launched.

     @chris What's wrong with it? Does 24.04 work? Fedora? It's 13in or 15in? I might be interested in buying it.

     @chris Yeah non lts releases aren't really worth it unless you gave a specific need. Not sure I'm interested in the 13" one unless it's a really good deal.

     If the stuff really was “better” that would be one thing, but it usually isn’t. Even the communities and people behind them tend to be just as toxic as any other tech.
