     @davidaugust it's an RTO mandate. Pete couldn't understand that being assigned to a rote place meant that you worked from there. He will tell them to use all the cool secure video capabilities to manage from a distance

     @ATLeagle I fear this could be near the truth. Not sure he has ever had a grasp of high level military command before this job and he seem uninterested in learning now.

     @davidaugust what if this was an accidental reply-all, or he sent to the "Generals - All" list when he meant to send to "Generals - Alabama", and now he's too embarrassed to admit it was a mistake. Right now the Pentagon is scrambling to book a conference centre on short notice because they just reserved a meeting room with 10 chairs.
