     @sim Exactly! And I certainly don't understand it, either. It was obvious the girls were being taunted. And why did social media users make it a class thing? Because it was hinted that these girls were worthless, violent, not to be believed or trusted, came from a difficult neighbourhood where racism is rampant, etc. This is ad nauseam what we heard on what went on with the grooming gangs. When will it ever stop?

     @Chronic-Yonic There was a lot of confusion too. The scottish girl is Lola. I definitely saw a girl on the video that was scared and one of them pointing out that one of the girls is only 12.
     
     How do you not take the side of these girls being filmed in this case? I don't understand it. If they have weapons/tools as one of them did, that just shows that she feels unsafe. That the adults aren't protecting her so she feels the need to protect herself. This is probably not the first time this has happened to her or around her. She is short too... those adults would be scarier to her. They can easily overpower her. I think we often forget that adults are taller and bigger, that adults are intimidating to children. Adults can seriously harm children. And we're forcing them to live around complete strangers... that's not fair.

     @sim Yes. But the comments on social media, including an article by none other than Kathleen Stock, were horrendous. Woke users were saying the girls were racists, backwards, scum and retarded. They made it sound like the girls had not been parented right, poor people in Scotland are like American hillbillies and whatever else. They were referring to the girls' economic situations and whatever else that have nothing to do with the situation.

     So, me wonders how the people that were calling the Scottish girl with an axe and knife to defend herself and her sister, racists, ignorant backwards retarded yahoos now feel, since the man and woman who were harassing them are the ones that have been arrested? (Blimey! For once the coppers are doing gasp THEIR JOBS???)

     Will they apologize?

     Or, just like the brave men and women that they truly are, will do as if nothing ever happened? Maybe even go to the length of quietly deleting tweets, Substack entries and whatever else?
