I'm developing a Chrome extension to automagically redirect you to your home #Fediverse when opening a link shared by someone else from a different Fediverse.
I belive this is the biggest problem of this platform.
If you are interested in testing it let me know and I'll invite you to the private GitHub repository. Once this initial testing is done we'll make it public and publish the extension in the store.

You went under the post of someone who simply said they’re creating an extension for Chrome just to bother them for this and that. Let’s stick to the topic: they’re making an extension. Your ideals? Start a blog and talk to people who actually care. Don’t disturb random people on social media just because you’ve got nothing better to do.

it's not private to "not share blah blah", it's just during this testing where I do a lot of random changes and tests on my own and the extension is not being packed for the store.

If you want data to be private, don't share it with a proprietary mega corpo known for plagiarizing anything they can get their hands on to "train" their LLM.

I’m tired of always having to watch out on social media because there’s always someone who feels the need to annoy others with their theories about Microsoft, Google, Mozilla, about what’s open source, what’s FOSS, what’s this and what’s that. It’s not possible that a developer, a person, can’t simply share what they’re working on without someone jumping into the comments to bust their balls over something that, objectively, nobody actually cares about.

This is not being mature, and honestly I’m starting to be disgusted by the fact that unfortunately this has become the routine in open source.
