@hellomiakoda IMO, JD will be worse. He name-dropped Curtis Yarvin during the campaign. What we are seeing now is the result of years of effort from a dedicated cadre of fascists/"neo-reactionaries"/"neo-monarchists."

I don't think the MAGAts will be quite as united behind anyone but Trump. The rest of the conservative leaders are just as evil but not as bombastic and can't pull off the same level of insanity.
As for the Democrats - this is exactly what they wanted, a great justification for fundraising while they pretend to be sad that the oligarchs are bleeding us dry. They don't want to fix anything.

@firebreathingduck I know dems don't want to fix a damn thing... but they do need to attempt to playcate us with something. Playcation or not, it's at least less bad. Hopfully, that happens and buys us some survival time to figure this shit out and actually organize. Though, likely, everyone will see thier doctors again and then go home and gret ready for work and check their EBT balance like they always have. Nothing changes till crumbs stop being considered enough.

I don't particularly care WHAT derails the impending ovens. I'm just terrified of my friends being executed, and that is VERY CLEARLY COMMING unless something stops this path!
I'm on the list too, I just don't consider my own survival to be worth the effort. Yeah yeah, my therapist knows. If being here for the sake of my friends keeps me from taking all my pills at once, so be it.

To be clear, I'm not writing off the transition process - but even in the asshats' own description, if their view of that was correct, I still couldn't give less of a fuck about someone else modifying or removing their own body parts. I simply do not care, beyond maybe don't do it with a rusty hack saw, I'd prefer you not die.
